Bank of America Healthcare Payments

Retirement of Bank of America Healthcare Payments System

Bank of America will be retiring the Bank of America Healthcare Payments application in the second quarter of 2007. No new payments will be processed on this application after February 28, 2007. The website will be available until May 2007 to view payments initiated by NCPPO by February 28, 2007, and to receive adjustment payments related to those payments initiated prior to February 28, 2007. We encourage you to resolve all outstanding issues promptly.

After February 28, 2007, if we had sent your reimbursement via a paper check, you will receive the paper check directly from the Payor. If you had received electronic payments, you will receive electronic (EFT) payments from UniCare. You will need to register for EFT with UniCare. We are still determining the electronic capabilities of the other Payors and will provide an update shortly. Please feel free to contact the Payors directly.

Please note, all claims should continue to be sent electronically using Payor identification number 90001 or to the address on the back of the members ID card.
