HealthLink, Inc. (HealthLink) and National Capital PPO (NCPPO) made a business decision to discontinue their market presence in the Mid-Atlantic States of Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia and Western Virginia. As of June 1, 2010, HealthLink clients – employer groups, third party administrators and insurers - with membership in these Mid-Atlantic states were notified to transition to other networks. Notification to HealthLink clients took place in the fall of 2009.
