Par files are data files which
are a snapshot of all NCPPO participating provider data. Various
demographical data are collected from the providers and transmitted
to payors. This information includes Tax Identification Number
(TIN), office location, specialty, effective date of participation
and other demographic items. Payors have the option to receive
a full provider file or an add/term/change file for medical
providers and/or mental health providers, as applicable. Files
are updated monthly and are available electronically via FTP,
electronic mail, CD-ROM or by accessing our bulletin board.
Payors may choose between a comma-delimited or the fixed width
format.
