Access Fees Payments for TPAs or Client Groups Printer Friendly

TPAs frequently submit access fee payments to NCPPO/HealthLink on behalf of their self-funded group clients

The payment is based on the active, current membership with NCPPO. Therefore, there should be correlation with the eligibility file.

Access fees vary due to:

  • NCPPO product sold to the group (medical and/or mental health)
  • Business volume.
  • Administrative costs associated with the block of business.

Monthly payments are submitted by fifteen days following the close of the prior month to NCPPO/HealthLink’s post office box:

The payment detail (i.e. number of groups and subscribers by group and grand totals) should be sent with the payment to the post office box at the address above.

Payors interested in submitting payment via wire transfer need to contact NCPPO/HealthLink’s Finance department and provide the following information: company from which the payment will be received, the group or groups to which the payment should be applied (and the payor’s group number for each) and indicate for which month payment is being made. Payment details are sent to NCPPO/HealthLink to correspond with the wire transfer payment.
