Worksite Wellness Programs include the following list of services to help you build a customized,
on-site wellness program for your employees:
Wellness Planner Online
The program’s online scheduler allows employees to book an appointment for a Health Screening,
Well Advisor, therapeutic massage, flu shot, or enroll in a health seminar. This value-added
resource enhances participation, monitors pre-event activity and maintains a steady event
day flow of participants. An employee eligibility list must be provided to initiate the
service.
Health Screenings
Health screenings include cholesterol screening, blood pressure, body composition/body
mass index and diabetes risk assessment. Participants receive a Results Scorecard with
relevant health information. Each screening takes approximately five minutes, with
approximately 12 participants screened per hour per staff.
Health Risk Assessments
This paper-based tool is a questionnaire completed by participants to assess their current
health status. Participants receive an individual report on their health status along
with valuable health information on various topics. An aggregate report of participants
and a risk level report are available to help plan targeted health promotion programs.
Well Advisor
Well Advisors provide one-on-one tailored health education to encourage proactive involvement
in enacting behavioral changes to promote better health.
Health Seminars
One-hour seminars, available on a variety of topics, are designed to engage individuals
and group health needs and interests. For multiple sites, seminars may be delivered
using Tele-Seminar or Web-based technology. Topics include: high blood pressure, cholesterol,
smoking cessation, weight management, exercise, nutrition, cancer prevention, pain
management, chronic disease management, stress management and women’s health.
Stress Management through Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage provides participants with a five-minute neck and shoulder chair massage,
a five-minute back and shoulder table massage or a five-minute foot and leg reflexology
massage. Longer appointments are also available. Massage therapists share relaxation
techniques and breathing exercises that promote the benefits of stress reduction.
Fall Season Influenza Vaccinations
On-site flu shot clinics provide participants with convenient access to flu shots during
the months of November, December and January. Registered nurses administer the shots.
Participant Surveys and Reports
Worksite Wellness Programs include participant satisfaction and engagement surveys, health
screening aggregate summary reports and health risk assessment executive summary reports.
Worksite Wellness is part of the HealthLink Health Care Management Program, an extensive
suite of health promotion and wellness information, case management and care coordination
services to help physicians help their patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
